Why does Waro exist?

The fashion industry is responsible for 8 to 10 percent of global CO₂ emissions. And yet, most brands have little insight into the actual impact of their products.

In 2021, Waro was founded on the belief that by giving brands the right tools, they can reduce their environmental impact without sacrificing their business performance.

Today, more than 40 brands—including Celio, Jules, Maisons du Monde, and Tediber—use Waro to understand and reduce their environmental impact.

Our Vision

Make environmental impact a key factor in consumer decisions, from product design all the way to the purchase decision in the store!

Our goal: to provide a simple, user-friendly tool that enables brands to easily understand the impact of their products, rely on a genuine decision-making tool to reduce that impact and inform their CSR strategy, and transparently communicate the impact and story behind their products.
