At WARO, our mission is to bring greater transparency to the environmental impact of the products we use every day, through a platform that enables brands to measure, reduce, and communicate the impact of their products.
For a long time, brands have viewed CSR as a regulatory constraint—something they have to endure, not something they choose. We firmly believe that the opposite is true: when managed effectively, environmental performance improves margins, strengthens brand image, secures financing, and engages employees.
Our goal: to provide a simple, user-friendly tool that enables brands to easily understand the impact of their products, to use a genuine decision-making tool to reduce the environmental impact of their product lines and support their CSR strategy, and to transparently communicate the impact and story behind their products to consumers.
Since 2021, more than 40 brands—including Celio, Jules, Galeries Lafayette, and Maisons du Monde—have placed their trust in us to make this happen.
Waro is not a reporting tool. It is a decision-support platform that connects CSR, business units, IT, and senior management around a single set of environmental data—data that everyone can use in their day-to-day work. Here are the specific challenges we’re working on.
Impact measurement methodologies (LCA, PEF, AGEC, etc.) are incredibly complex. Our job: to hide them behind a seamless user experience, while increasing the accuracy of the results by 50% compared to a traditional carbon footprint assessment.
PLM, ERP, traceability tools, Excel files from the procurement teams… Product data is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. We build the integrations and pipelines that transform this chaos into actionable data.
A product manager at Jules makes 50 decisions a week that have an environmental impact. Our challenge: to provide them with the right metrics, at the right time, in a tool they actually want to use—not one they feel forced to use.
We’ve structured our product around five key stages of the customer journey: data integration, compliance, impact management, trajectory development, and everyday eco-design. There’s still a lot of work to be done.
To accelerate our growth, we're looking for people who believe in our mission and are ready to commit to revolutionizing the world of impact measurement 🚀
We're based in the 11th arrondissement. We work hard, but we have fun, too. And we're trying to build the kind of company we would have wanted to join.
Four teams, four co-founders who are still here and continue to do the work day in and day out. No middle management—we’re still in that rare phase where everyone really knows each other.
What we build has a direct impact on the day-to-day decisions of dozens of business teams at our clients. A developer at Waro is someone whose work tangibly changes the way a product manager selects materials, a CSR director sets goals, and a procurement director chooses suppliers.
We focus on quality—clean code, systematic code reviews, and documentation. We're constantly improving. Developers are involved in the design process from the very beginning, not just at the end.
