The Position
Job Description and Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you’ll join the Integrations team (alongside Nicolas), whose goal is to support our clients’ IT teams during the data extraction phase, and then to configure, maintain, and improve the integration pipelines to our tools.
During this internship, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Successfully complete the import of customer data (60% of tasks): Receive, review, and provide feedback on the requirements from the Customer Success Management (CSM) team, identify bottlenecks and escalate them to the technical team, configure our integration pipeline to carry out the import (Excel 80% of the time + TypeScript and Node.js stack 20% of the time**), and coordinate the verification of data models with the CSM.
- Continuous improvement and critical reviews (30% of assignments): Review and suggest areas for improvement in the import specifications provided by the CSMs, the operation and documentation of our in-house tool, and any other issues that come up on a daily basis!
- Represent Waro to clients during data workshops (10% of assignments): Prepare for the meeting and summarize Waro’s data-related expectations for its clients; adapt the requirements document and present it during the workshop alongside a CSM.
Since the team is small, you’ll quickly take on responsibilities and be able to get involved in all strategic matters related to the team’s development (cross-functional projects with other teams, developing and tracking operational metrics, etc.).
